The Divas Pen: Author of Sensual and Dark Romance writing as Sienna Mynx and T.A. Ford

Dear Reader,

Today I opened an email from you where you referred to me an unethical author because I dare delay the release of Amore the fifth installment in the Battaglia Series. And you also stated you will return books purchased under my name and never buy anything from me again. You sent this via email and also left these comments on my website. At first I was not going to respond. However, since you took the time out to reach out to me I believe I should return the favor.

First and foremost: The Battaglia Series is something that I take very serious. I have done extensive research and I am fully invested in delivering each book. However, this year I have had my share of physical and personal issues that constantly hampered my ability to invest the time in doing so. I work a full time job, take care of an elderly mother and raise two little girls who are not my own. And although I would love to devote every waking moment to writing for my favorite series, my independent book sales do not put enough food on the table for me to do so. As I managed my life and writing I’ve released several books in between in hopes to entertain my readers while I worked toward finishing Amore. But after a break in to my house and the loss of my personal belongings and computers (which has cost me both research and hard work put into my beloved series) I had the unfortunate luck to be delayed further.

Oh and I gave the readers Rallenti (another installment in the Battaglia Series) in July for only 99 cents as a gesture of good will. But you see this as nothing more than me being unethical? Please do return the book you bought from me today. And although I am appreciative that you have spent any of your money in the past on my work I am very accepting of the fact that you will not read my work any further. I don’t need nasty insults thrown at me and accusations that are hurtful. Life is too short.

Have a blessed day.

    Hello Sienna Mynx,

I ‘m sorry that I left a comment in regards to “dancer” review about “Some one to watch over me” on Amazon. I felt her review to be petty, bias, and mean. I told her we as readers must respect the author because they have families and work full-time. Also the author is a wonderful writer and do not expect any author to jump at your pleasure. Once again I sorry she sent you a nasty email. Please take care. Thank you

OMGosh that is all I can say about the angry reader to threaten to return books purchased because the reader couldn’t get what they wanted. Everyone is eagerly waiting on Amore but Sienna has released other wonderful books until the release. Like I said before OMGosh

Wow, I was kind of shock about the letter you got from the reader but then I paused for a moment and thought, “There are a few ungrateful people that you will never and I mean never satisfy.” You take a note of it and move on. Life is way too short.
So, on a different note I would like to say, “Thank you”‘. I enjoy and am very grateful for all the hard work you do in providing fantastic books for us to read. Keep up the good work and God bless.

oh my goodness! Regardless of any personal issues that may/may not affect your writing and publication dates, how dare someone get in touch to be so rude! I love your work and have bought most (I think!) of your books and enjoyed each and every one of them. Am I awaiting the next instalment of the Bataglia series with bated breath? You bet I am! But, like most of your readers, I wait patiently while you finish and wish you the very best in the meantime.

I have emailed you in the past to say ‘thank you’ for your books because they helped keep me occupied during a very difficult pregnancy, and you were gracious enough to reply with kindness. I was so grateful to you.

Thank you for your wonderful books – they allow me to escape reality for a little while and enjoy your fabulous imagination!

I just have to write this email to the “Anger Reader”, life is not about you. If you feel that you are the center of the World you are looking to have a unhappy life. Writing a book nor reading a book should be the most important thing in a person’s life. Family comes first and the things one must do to maintain the family. Now, Sienna told you and all of us thst she works, takes care of her family and needs time to relax. HOW SELFISH OF YOU TO TREAT HER AS IF SHE IS YOUR PERSONAL AUTHOR. What would you do if someone treated you the way you treated Sienna. You need to get over yourself because life is not just for you. Treat people the way you want to be treated. My Boo said ” how dare you upset Sienna. “

Sienna, I come to you again, about replying to stupid comments. Apparently the writer of the ugly comment doesn’t have anything else to in their lives! If she is this serious about fictional characters
She needs to get back in touch with the real world. Do not and I mean do not let these negative people rob you of your joy of writing. It takes great skill and passion to produce stories like yours. If the ugly commenter needs to hAve an author that puts books out there every week then she needs to switch to them. I am sure she may get quantity but certainly not quality! I am very sorry about the mishap s you’ve experienced. Take care of your real life first and the get back in the make believe one. After all that’s what really counts!

You do not have to explain or go into great detail about your life! You don’t owe your readers anything but a great story if decide to do so! This is your craft and no one tells you how to do it! It’s like famous saying goes ‘you damned it you do or damned if you don’t’ so quit trying. If you just do you and ignore the naysayers you will be fine and less stressed over what other people have to say. Be like the movies stars feel about the rag magazines know that they are out there but you don’t have to buy them!

You have provided by far some of the best writing I’ve read. Your books are addicting; if I can admit that without sounding as crazy as the “Angry person” nutjob. So when I get antsy waiting for a new release, I go through my collection and re-read my favorites. Shame on the Angry person who would dare reach out to you for the purpose of sharing such negativity. I dare to say, those comments were likely intended to discourage other readers from your work. Although anyone who read it was likely instead to see how VERY DISTURBED the Angry person is. I wouldn’t be surprised if Angry person thought they’d get an apology and a bunch of free stuff for their troubles. LMAO!! I am sorry to hear all that you have on your plate. That you still find time to put out the quality of work care Siennayou do is a testament to who you are. It makes me respect and admire you even more. I’m sure I’m not alone in praying for you. I look forward to more of your work, Amore in particular ; ). In the meantime you’ve given me plenty to keep me entertained until then. Take care Sienna Mynx, I bid you Miracles & Blessings.,
