I’m so sorry that today’s release date didn’t bare fruit. I’ve been so overwhelmed with work and moving that I forgot to update the blog. (Big Shame On Mynx!). Please accept my sincere apology. Here’s the good news, bad news, and not so bad news about Mi Carino Redux / Mi Carina Diego’s Wrath.

1. The rewrite of Volume I ‘Mi Carino’ is complete and through edits. It will be re-released on the same day as the concluding book.

2. Mi Carina ‘Diego’s Wrath’ is currently back with the editor. There were some issues with the grammar and content development that have to be addressed. This is a necessary must to ensure you ladies get a stellar book. The release date will not be announced until next week at the latest.

3. Both books will release for free at ‘AllRomanceEbooks and Smashwords’ for the first week. The next week both books will appear on Amazon and B&N for 99 cents which is the lowest release price I can offer it for. So if you want a free copy you can download it from AllRomanceEbooks/Smashwords and if you want it for your Kindle/Nook you will have to pay 99 cents? Great news right!

4. Now for the bad news. No books will be released for free as ‘pdf’. I have a serious issue with some of the piracy of my material over the internet. To be truthful most of my books uploaded to these pirate sites are done so in pdf format. To alleviate too much rampage piracy after two weeks of free releases at AllRomanceEbooks and Smashwords, the pdf book will be loaded and offered for 99 cents. Does that make sense? If it doesn’t send me an email and I’d be happy to provide a pdf book to you directly? Deal? E

Either way you will have some good stuff. I suggest you re-read the original story because it’s been changed and developed in ways you didn’t experience the first time around. You’re going to love it!

It’s been a moment since I’ve shared my thoughts with you lovely readers. Not for anything but life and the constant curve balls thrown my way. Lately I have had my share. One of the most upsetting things is my writing has suffered. I’m down to only two hours a day. *boohoo*

I have a very aggressive plan for 2012. It includes both published and free reads. I also have beta readers. Now if only I could get back on schedule. The new year has hit me hard. In the next two months I will be moving and it’s a major change for me.  I also have a day job that requires more energy be spent on other matters (roll eyes). In other words I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed and discouraged. Yep crunch time is here.

I’m happy to share that the second installment of Lee’s Girls will be released this Friday. The book is not as long as the first. It does however focus more on Lee and Michelle. You see the dynamics of how their love works and doesn’t. Overall I believe fans of this trilogy will be pleased. The final installment is with the editor and being revised as we speak. Maybe the third book will be released before April. Fingers crossed.

However ,Mi Carino/Carina Redux may fall short of a January release. I wanted to keep you informed since those books will release together for free and will be a very enjoyable read. Even if you bought or read Mi Carino you will want the new version of the tale. Additonal scenes and storyline developments have been added to make it a very good read. I hope you enjoy it.

Do you remember Taming the Scotsman? I do! I plan to re-release it as well before March. I pulled the story because of some strong critiques that I knew would only benefit my product if I took the time and investment to improve it. I hope you all purchase the revised version because a lot of the story content has been changed.

Some may ask why books release and then are pulled and re-released. I can only say I have some very generous readers and I listen and learn from all of your critiques. If you have purchased any book that has had a re-release just let me know and I’d be happy to give you the new version for free.

Now time to answer some of my reader mail:

1. Sour Grapes is a wonderful book. You left if unfinished, when will there be more? I am so sorry that story lingers incomplete. I do know how the story ends and I love those characters. Right now I’m struggling with whether to finish it as a free read or just finish it and release it as a low cost e-book. I haven’t decided. I don’t think I will begin any work on it until May.

2. Can we get more free reads? When will they be posted? I have a story called Leoti. It’s a romance between a Native American man and African American woman. I have to dust it off and get it to the beta reader. Then we will start seeing it posted. Again, my schedule is behind. So bare with me.

3. Aiden! Aiden! You keep promising but where is Aiden? Believe it or not I get a email a week on this. I am seriously thinking of putting everything on hold and just writing the follow up book. I can’t explain the popularity and hate for this couple. Many people want to read about them. I will definitely finish the series. My promise!

4. How do I find out more details on my Last Day Without You? The movie looks fantastic! I blogged on this some time ago. I will do another blog and share all details on the movie. Also they have a fan page in facebook that gives you up to date information on it’s release. It’s a indie-film and making the festivals now I believe.

5. Will there be a sequel to Phantom and Wolf Bait? No. Those two book are my lowest sellers and to be honest I have so many requests for sequels that these are not even on the charts.

6. Harper and Eric of Before Sunrise are so hot. Can you do a story on them? If I do a follow up story for them it will be a free read posted here on the site. I don’t think I will do a full fledged book on them.

7. Where is Harmony? It’s the book I’ve been looking for. I plan to release it after Mi Carino/Taming the Scotsman. I haven’t forgotten.

8. Any sequels for Black Butterfly in the works? No.

9. Battaglia? Can we get a sample? I think that’s a great idea. I haven’t thought of how to give some free samples of Battaglia, but I definitely think it’s a good idea.

10. Print books? Where are they? Coming soon. I’m seriously behind and I need to get them released. This is my fault. I plan to take this on next month. Before Sunrise will release in print this month. Hopefully.

As for life and it’s demands. I will juggle through them as always. I just wanted you to know that I’m here, writing and loving it, and you have more great reads to come!
