AllRomanceEbooks has launched their Reader’s Choice Cafe! To my surprise and delight Sienna Mynx was one of the first authors selected for review. Funny Valentine has quickly become Sienna Mynx’s Best Seller by selling over a 1000 copies in the first month of release. And it’s popularity doesn’t end there!
Funny Valentine by Sienna Mynx is a fun read and I enjoyed every minute of it. The novel started out good, got even better and by the end it was simply amazing. The raw passion and chemistry Tia and Melvin share is like a presence in the room…..

TA Ford’s first novel still resonates with many. Released in 2008 into print, the story of a mulatto french woman in Napoleonic France trying to survive love and romance has become epic. And now others feel the same way too!
This interracial romance is particularly interesting because it takes place during a time when society frowned on and even saw such unions as illegal. The obstacles this couple face reads like it should be on a big screen and the author does an excellent job bringing it all to life.
It’s a great joy to share that not only is Zoe featured as a recommended read on AllRomanceEbookks, but it has also been selected as a ‘Staff Favorite”. Click here to Read the review for yourself.
One of my personal faves is continuing to surprise readers who aren’t drawn to historical romances. Some think there could be no love stories during a time of oppression and strife for African American’s between mixed-race couples. Maybe I’m a dreamer, an hopeless optimistic dreamer, but I find our history fascinated. And I’m always surprised when readers feel the same way…
When I first saw this eye-catching cover three women came to mind: Josephine Baker, Lena Horne and Billie Holiday. All were beautiful, sensual and romantic women, living with and loving men in a time where it would have cost them their lives. My own great-grandparents dared to love and marry during the early 1920s. If I could talk to them now, I have no doubt in my mind that their own love story would have been just as fascinating.
