I’m so thankful and blessed. I really do appreciate the support via emails and comments from each of you. I was talking with my sister last night. Here I am on this beautiful island with my laptop pecking away. She said I needed to enjoy my time with the family. I think I will do just that this holiday. So I’m putting up the laptop. This means Illegal Affair release date will be pushed back and so will Before Sunrise. Hopefully by a matter of weeks only. I want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!

Be sure to enjoy the sale prices of Sienna Mynx books this Friday!

I will share that I have close girlfriends who I love dearly and would give my right lung too, that are very dismissive of my books. Most have not read them. And those that have gave a polite ‘Oh that’s different’. I remember I cried when I wrote ‘Zoe’ under T.A. Ford and a friend who I loved made a off-hand comment about the book after I nearly begged her to read it. I almost considered not publishing any books after that. I gauged my value and my talent on what she perceived to be a genre black women would not care for. And to be honest after … Read the rest

I’m so sick with sadness. I can’t tell you how much I loved and still do love Heavy D. Some of my best memories in college were to his music. Dead at 44 is too young. Tonight was supposed to be a writing / editing night. Nope. Tonight is for me and Heavy D. Thanks for all the great music brought when Hip-Hop was actually an artform of music I could enjoy!… Read the rest
