What’s The Scenario Wednesday – I Need a Hero
Thursday, December 22nd, 2011 • The Mynx

Better late than never. Right?

I’ve not done a Scenario Wednesday update in weeks. Shame, shame, shame on me. The lovely authors Koko Brown, Serenity King and Shara Azod all have presented great excerpts for you. So I’d be remiss if I didn’t follow their lead.

This weeks scenario is inspired by that ‘heroic’ male lead in our stories. And guess who comes to mind? Liam Flannigan. It’s no secret how happy I am over the release of Before Sunrise. I guess because the character Liam is unlike the bad boy’s I’ve written lately. A Navy Seal with a tender heart for the woman he loves. I find his courage and strength heroic. I think he’s flawed, and imperfect in the ways most heroes are. Though Liam’s return throws his lady’s life into an upheaval his baby girl see’s him as a gift from God. When you read Before Sunrise, you will understand Liam’s pain over his little sister’s death and his redemption in the second chance at being a hero to his little girl Mackenzie. The excerpt I’ve provided shows what heroes, are made of. A little girls happiness over the joyful reunion with her daddy.

What’s The Scenario Wednesday: “Don’t Stand So Close To Me”
Wednesday, October 26th, 2011 • The Mynx

Today is What’s the Scenario Wednesday. I haven’t participated in the author loop in weeks but since this will be the last Wednesday in October I thought about giving you Diva’s a Holiday treat!

“Chosen,” was an author anthology I wanted to release this Halloween. Friends of mine had worked over a year on putting together a compelling erotic thriller set in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. This story follows four friends and students at Tulane at the first Mardi Gras. The witching hour separates them, and each are drawn by supernatural spirits that stalk Burbon Street that fateful night.

The book is still under re-writes and probably won’t release until the first of the year. I will be doing the project solo. But my author friends have given me some invaluable input in the story direction that I plan to use. So I’m very happy with this project. That being said, the core character in the book is one of my favorites. Her story is influenced by my favorite author Anne Rice. It taps into that old-style vampirism that pre-dates Twilight. I can’t wait to have you read her story. For this Halloween you will read an excerpt of her ancester Lisette. The small sample introduces the vampire Yvain. His 200 year pursuit of Lisette’s decdendants begin with this tale. Today’s theme of “Don’t Stand So Close To Me” is truly felt and expressed in this scene. LOL! This is a rough draft copy (unedited) so please excuse errors. Enjoy:

Baby Love – Final Book for Mel and Tia?
Friday, August 5th, 2011 • The Mynx

Let’s visit the sexy couple Mel and Tia Reed once more. I’m happy to share that you will be able to get your copy of Baby Love on August 17th.

This story picks up with Mel and Tia awaiting the birth of their new baby. A friend from Tia’s past surfaces and his actions set into play a chain of events that threaten but don’t break the strong bonds between them. Meet the Jacksons once more, and you will laugh, shake your head, and roll your eyes—after smiling, of course.

The full synopsis and confirmed release date is coming. Just wanted to make you all aware of the delicious treat you are in store for!
