The juggling act!

It’s much harder to keep up lately! Working full-time and writing full-time sounded like an awesome plan for the summer. With the release of Zoe, and the next book already cued and ready to go - I have little choice. But I just recently learned that the madness is in the details. Keeping meetings, scheduling follow-up discussion with clients, maintaining employee issues, then coming home to a 1 year-old and 5 year-old visiting for the summer is more than this writer bargained for.

Where do I begin? When does it end, and can I keep my sanity along the way? I guess self-promoting, publishing, pimping your own book is harder than I originally thought. But I guess it’s worth it right? Today I got news that the Historical Novel Writing Society will review Zoe. Yay!! If I can get a favorable review from them it will only serve to greater develop the promotion of this book. Wait, there’s a risk as well….if they hate it, well they review it still! LOL!

I’ve been told by Amazon Marketing that I have a list as long as my arm to complete the promotion of my book. But who has the time? Balance…yep that’s what I need is balance. Today’s post is just my musing over next steps and breaks - somewhere within I have to develop a plan. There is only so much I can take!
