Sienna where have you been?
Ciao Bella’s! It has been quite some time since I’ve updated my blog and you the reader on the current status of the fabulous projects I’m currently working on. I’ve received your emails and questions daily. I apologize for the delay. Let me share with you that I have not been idle. My job as an author kicked into another stratosphere with my Battaglia project. And though I am happy to report that the book has gone through it’s final rewrites and is currently in the editing process, I must share with you that it has been a long journey to get here. My quest to give the best of the very best in my work has put pressure and discipline into my writing that I have never experienced. I’m not sure any book I’ve written thus far has been as rewarding/challenging. And I’m busting with excitement to share the finished project with you.
First! It’s time for me to open up the blog with answers to your fanmail. If I haven’t answered your question in this blog post feel free to post it in the comment section and I will definitely get back to you!
Natasha asked: “Can you give us a round about date please? I would hate to purchase another book!”
@Natasha – Love you dearly. Thanks for your support. La Sposa is the name of the next book. It is with the editors. There are three editors who will work on this 400 page novel. It usually takes 2 to 3 weeks per editor. But I’ve asked for some super warp speed editing. My best estimate at this time is April 15h. That is not an official release date. The release date of this book will be decided on by the editors and the date could prove to be sooner or a few weeks later. I want you to have a well edited finished novel. In the past I’ve used only one editor and the margin of error was greater. So thanks for your patience chica! And I hope to have it to you soon!
Barbara said: “It would be great to see more on Mel and Tia along with the rest of their crew!”
@Barbara – Next to Aiden and Daisy Mel and Tia are the most requested couple to revisit. I will definitely do the honor of writing this fun and loving couple again. When? Not sure. I have so many good stories ahead of them I can’t say exactly. But rest assured it’s a must do!
Catherine and Renee asked: “When is La Famiglia Coming out?”
@Catherine/Renee – La Famiglia is no longer the third book. It is the fourth book. The next book to be released is La Sposa. La Famiglia will follow that book release!
Bluz Queen asked: “Is there a part 3 to Aiden’s Game and Daisy’s Choice? The story can’t end there. Love, love, love your work!”
@Bluz Queen – The third and final book to Aiden and Daisy’s story is called ‘No Regrets’ and it is to be released this summer. I begin writing the book this week. Expect a sneak peek at the book cover design soon!
Stacey asked: “Black Butterfly is a great book. I would liek to know if you have any more plans for Nolen and Sydney. I miss them already!”
@Stacey – Black Butterfly was an interesting story and one of the first ones I wrote. I don’t have any immediate plans to revisit these characters. But anything’s possible!
Cris asked: “Why is the re-issue date for the previously published third installment Battaglia Mafia Series, constantly changing and or has no definite issue date?”
@Cris – The previously published third installment to the Battaglia Series was a free blog story and was 700 pages long. Yep 700 pages! Now I could have easily just pushed that 700 pager on you, but I think you would not have found it as relatable as the first two. When I first gave you a publishing date for the three books I had truly envisioned editing the 700 pager quickly and moving forward with the series. I consulted professional editors who asked me what was more important. Pushing the story on the reader as is or giving the series a sense of relatable quality. I chose the latter. The editor made me go back to the ground floor and revise so many scenes I had to introduce new story arcs to lead me into the next part of the series. I appreciate your interest in the story, and patience with me, but I have to tell you — this was never a race to the finish line for me. I have decided not to give preemptive release dates on my future books because of the backlash I received. The next release date you receive from me will be as solid as granite. Hope you stick with me to enjoy this one!
Ethel asked: “Hi, just want to know if there is going to be a mi carina 2? I have read 1 and 2 and enjoyed them.”
@Ethel – Yes mam, the third book is called “Lance” and it’s about Susan and Lance and their love story. I think you will see Diego make an appearance with his family. It will be a good read!
Thank you for all your support. I hope I answered your questions. I plan to be more diligent in responding to you all in the future!
