Kerry Washington (my secret girl crush) has a new show premiering on ABC. Though I’m cautiously optimistic that this will be my new favorite (because ABC has a habit of royally pissing on talented shows and cancelling or marginalizing actors in my favorites) I can’t help but squeal at this trailer. Oh the suspense, the drama, and maybe even some steamy passion with a co-star who has the best British accent to me! Anways, check it out when it premieres. I will be blogging on it.

You heard my recent disenchantment with the thievery in the e-book publishing world. Trolls are now taking free material of authors (without registered ISBN’s or Publishers) and selling them on the internet for profit. Well it had me thinking heavily on my plans to release free material for my readers. I even considered removing the ones I currently have on the websphere. I have since decided to not do so.
That being said, I’m happy to announce that another ‘Free Read’ will be released by the Interracial Romance Publishing House Pillow Talk. I’m currently in talks with them now about a 7K word short story that I think readers will find enjoyable. They currently have some of your favorite Interracial Romance Writers on board. Have you heard of them? I suggest you visit their site PillowTalkEbooks.com and learn more. I will of course update you all when the release of the indie book is available through them.
Hello my fellow divas!
Upon my return from my birthday celebration I found a disturbing email in my inbox. A warning to a crime that cuts me to my core. Apparently a fraudulent author by the name of Elizabeth Summers (and several other aliases) is taking free reads, putting her name to them and selling them as original stories on Amazon. A very dear author friend has had over five stories stolen from her. And worst yet, Amazon has refused to act.
Click here to see one of the stolen books listed.
I’m sickened by the vile disgusting thievery and disheartened because Elizabeth Summers seems to be one of many. That’s right, there are others out there scanning the internet for a chance to become the next Amanda Hawkings (author who sold over a million copies on Amazon). It’s time for this madness to end!
