It was 1941 and their passion was forbidden. Yet what they felt was greater than who they were. A love that stood taller than the divide of race or class. It’s binds strengthening each day against the forces of the Navy, Nazis, segregation, and World War II. Neither one of them could deny the power of true love now. And with the addition of fate, together they would both risk it all to preserve what they’d found in each other.

Her name is Vivian Scott, she has very little in the world, just the love and support of her brother Ely. After his enlistment in the Navy, Vivian resolves herself to the role of nurturer, making a home for them along the white sandy shores of Oahu, Hawaii. Ely’s happiness is enough to sustain her. That is until she meets Michael. Their friendship sparks, trust and admiration that quickly blossoms into more. But how can that be? He’s white and she’s not. For that reason and many others Michael and Vivian struggle to resist the growing the attraction they share.

However, with a war looming and fate pushing them into each other arms they are often unable to resist. At what price? Ely’s freedom, Micheal’s respect and rating in the Navy, or the fate of another that neither Ely nor Michael know anything about. Vivian’s secret.

On the Wings of Love is a snapshot in time. A weathered moment between two destined hearts entwined by chance and sealed tight with love. You the reader are invited to write the ending. I ask that you open yourself up to the possibilities of Vivian and Michael’s beginning…

Daisy’s Choice Get’s A New Face!
Monday, March 28th, 2011 • The Mynx

I’m so excited!
After careful working and reworking of Daisy’s Choice, I realized that the cover design originally done was not quite the one to reflect the story. Aiden was not quite right. Then I found my muse, the guy who I envision to be the ruthless Aiden Keane. So I met with my cover designer and we came up with a new cover that captures the characters perfectly.

Daisy’s Choice is slated for release on April 25th (tentatively the 15th). The story is one for the record books and I am so nervous about it’s release. But after staring at this cover all night I’m beginning to believe that this story will fascinate and entertain just as much as Aiden’s Game!

It’s been a helluva journey. Daisy’s Choice was first written in May 2009. The story was a very in-depth look on the push and pull of old love and new beginnings. I had hoped that the rewrite would be a quick one for those requesting this sequel. It turned out to be a three month oddessy that has left me totally depleted and filled with pride. If only it gives the reader the same experience will I have done my job!

Readers Choice!

AllRomanceEbooks has launched their Reader’s Choice Cafe! To my surprise and delight Sienna Mynx was one of the first authors selected for review. Funny Valentine has quickly become Sienna Mynx’s Best Seller by selling over a 1000 copies in the first month of release. And it’s popularity doesn’t end there!

Funny Valentine by Sienna Mynx is a fun read and I enjoyed every minute of it. The novel started out good, got even better and by the end it was simply amazing. The raw passion and chemistry Tia and Melvin share is like a presence in the room…..

TA Ford’s first novel still resonates with many. Released in 2008 into print, the story of a mulatto french woman in Napoleonic France trying to survive love and romance has become epic. And now others feel the same way too!

This interracial romance is particularly interesting because it takes place during a time when society frowned on and even saw such unions as illegal. The obstacles this couple face reads like it should be on a big screen and the author does an excellent job bringing it all to life.

It’s a great joy to share that not only is Zoe featured as a recommended read on AllRomanceEbookks, but it has also been selected as a ‘Staff Favorite”. Click here to Read the review for yourself.

One of my personal faves is continuing to surprise readers who aren’t drawn to historical romances. Some think there could be no love stories during a time of oppression and strife for African American’s between mixed-race couples. Maybe I’m a dreamer, an hopeless optimistic dreamer, but I find our history fascinated. And I’m always surprised when readers feel the same way…

When I first saw this eye-catching cover three women came to mind: Josephine Baker, Lena Horne and Billie Holiday. All were beautiful, sensual and romantic women, living with and loving men in a time where it would have cost them their lives. My own great-grandparents dared to love and marry during the early 1920s. If I could talk to them now, I have no doubt in my mind that their own love story would have been just as fascinating.
